A Secret or Not

Though I’m keeping it to myself,

It won’t necessary be a secret.

You had asked me directly, but I manoeuvred the conversation back to you, changing the subject.

She had asked me in front of everybody else over our dinner, but I answered it funnily, denying the fact that it was true.

Why?

Because this is uncertain. I was just planning but Allah knows best. What is meant to be will be. 

If leaving is the best thing, Allah grants me my wish.

If staying is the best thing, I’ll be here still.

I’m sorry if I’m keeping this to myself. It’s not a secret but there are things not to be shared. This one it is!
