Soon to end a quick year...
Peace be upon you, readers!
In the matter of days, the calendar will flip from 2022 to 2023. In fact, this year passed really quick, or maybe I was occupied all the way from January to date. So, how was my 2022?
I don't know where and how to begin, but one word to conclude 2022; SWIFT. 2022 was a year of recovery from the pandemic, everything was back to normal again and we were excited to do everything we had been wanting to do when we were locked up in the comfort of our own home. Well, school had been (really) busy. I was redeployed, thus I had new environment to adapt and get used to. I hold new position and that made me occupied every months. I had my 30th born anniversary trip to KL end of February and went to Semporna for Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) end of May. Life started quick again after June with school activities and whatnot. I missed a few applications for scholarships and also GC. There's always next year, but it can never be the same. October was the busiest by far, I had courses almost every week. November wasn't bad too, I spent mostly out from school in November. Then, comes December!
So, am I here for another new year's resolutions? I didn't remember if I had any this year, and whether I went achieving it or not. I lost track. Was 2022 that bad? Not really. It had been good. It taught me a lot, like previous years but this year was even better. I learnt that people didn't actually change, they just showed their true colours. I learnt to let go of a toxic friendship, I learnt to appreciate myself even better. I learnt to be kind to everybody and mind my own business, I learnt to not easily judge people and respect their decision on how to behave. I learnt to be grateful of everything, be it good or bad because whatever happened to you was due to Allah's will. I learnt to keep going, not following the flow because following the flow would make you drown sometimes. Life was too short to be worry, appreciate and live my life like there was no tomorrow.
Well, do I keep a new year's resolution for 2023. Let me think if I have any. Nevertheless, I think I'd like to recall my 7Ss if it can fit my 2023's resolutions...
1st S: Solat and Sembahyang, I need to improve on this especially during musafir period. I need to relearn how to Jamak.
2nd S: Sihat and Sejahtera. Gosh, I gained weight since I moved to this new school. No exercises on the weekend like I used too. Please, EXERCISE and EAT HEALTHILY!
3rd S: Simpan or Saving. Please commit to save a fraction of my income to Tabung Haji every month!
4th S: Sedekah... all the time, not during Ramadhan month only. Sedekah on Ayah's behalf too.
5th S: Syukur. Be grateful and always remember, in your rezeki there are also others.
6th S: Social Media cleansing. Well, I can live without Facebook & Twitter for more than a year now. But I'm currently on Tik Tok and have been addicted to it. Gosh!
7th S: Success. I gained a few successes this year but I need to do more to achieve more. GC and scholarship, or maybe publishing my own story books for young children, produces digital arts and sell them on Etsy of Shoppee! More action researches and more writings, and present papers in a few conferences! PLEASE!!!
They are still applies for 2023. We'll see if 2023 serves me any good. Insha Allah.
Thanks for spending some times reading my post! See ya!

What a Gift?!
A fake Ombré,
An original Bamboo.
I once bought you,
an English pear and freesia.
I knew it wasn't real,
then I kept it to myself.
--- because I don't do other people fake.

Google Image Search...
Hello, I'm here with another story - a sad one.
Busy days were long gone. Early this year, I was swamped preparing my kids for various competitions - online and offline. Won some, and lost most of them. It was my first time sending my kids from this school; my new school. The last competition was for STEM - Scientific Poster competition, an open participation for state level of Sarawak. The best 3 will represent the state for National level in October. I, up to an hour ago, was still waiting for the result. I decided to look up for the result on Google, and I typed "Keputusan Scientific Poster 2022", instantly the whole results appeared. I clicked on the "Image" button. Shockingly, the result was already OUT, posted on JPN's Sarawak Facebook page. Well, I'm no longer a Facebook user. My heart dropped!!! We're not in the list, which means, WE LOST! That competition was my LAST HOPE to enter National level this year. Actually, it wasn't! I was planning to send another 2 competitions for National - Video Creative and Digital Story-telling Animations (DST), however, I MISSED THE DEADLINES! SO, MY LAST HOPE WAS THE SCIENTIFIC POSTER COMPETITION!
The only words I uttered was "WE DIDN'T GET IT, O' ALLAH", repeated it many many times.
This is what happened when you put all the eggs in one basket. Hoping and depending OVER JUST ONE THING, and when the-one-thing didn't work, your heart broke!
That exactly what had happening to me, just moments ago!!! :'(
Everything starts with a "Google Image Search..."

Recently Deleted Album
How does if feel to be deleted in someone's life.
You were part of her beautiful stories in the past. Now, you're just a history.
You're either still sitting in her 'Recently Deleted Album', or have been permanently deleted.
Whatever it is, I know no reasons.
There's always the Undo button, but once deleted, you have at least 30 days to recover the files. Otherwise, it will be permanently GONE, as you wish!

2022: A New Beginning
Hi, readers!
I'm back! How are you guys doing? I hope you guys are doing great. I'm here dusting my pages because it has been ages since my last update. The last update was more than a year ago. Now, I'm here to tell that I have moved to a new working environment with new colleagues. Well, where shall I begin?
Remember my last post? I had been keeping my EG-tukar a secret from everyone, including my family and mostly my friends. That was my second application, my first was in 2018. In December 2021, the result was announced. Sadly, I didn't get it. Thus, I was so ready to be working in my old environment, perhaps with new spirit and goals to achieve. However, on Christmas' Eve that afternoon, my headmaster called me. It was Friday, I remembered the day so well. I picked up the phone. He told me that I was redeployed to another school, still in the same district. The only response that I gave him was a tiny giggle and a glitch laugh. I was disbelief. Allah had finally granted my doa and wish. This was the answer for all the prayers that I had asked from Him. I wasn't the only one. Mr. Jawin was redeployed too, for some unknown reasons. Maybe his service at his former school was too long, in fact it was his first school. To put icing on the cake, his wife was also teaching at the same school. Well, those were the reasons that we assumed. It was hard for him to have received such unexpected news. Unlike me, I was surprise when I got the news, but at the same time, I knew that sooner or later I would get it.
Soon after, my headmaster shared the news on our Whatsapp's group. I was busy on the phone, texting my close friends on Whatsapp regarding the news. While I was at it, I received a phone call from Debra and Allan. They were shocked with the news and for an umpteenth times asking me, 'Why why why you?" I didn't know how to react. It was sad leaving them and most of colleagues. Nevertheless, this was the best, at least for me. We ended the phone call and before that, I could hear Allan's shedding his tears from the other side. They were both driving back to Kuching from Betong.
It stopped there.
It was 2 weeks before I reported duty at my new school. The week after I got the news, I planned to stay at school the entire week to slowly pack my stuff and get things done before I leave for good. I stayed, for a week, all by myself. I used the time to think of my past, present and future. It was sad to leave, but I was excited to be working at a new place as well. I had all sort of feelings.
Monday, January 3rd...I drove myself to school. I had zoo in my stomach. I didn't know what to expect. I had to take another boat ride to reach my new school. I reported duty, along with Yvonne, the preschool teacher. My new headmaster showed us around the school. The next day, they decided to have a school meeting. I came to school again the next day. It was a tiring week indeed.
So, this is my new beginning for 2022. It's a new year, new school and new people! It's already July, times passed really fast. As for now, I'm still adjusting and adapting to my new environment, for example, how to live offline again. My new school hasn't got internet connection. It's like living in a cave, but I had many things done when I wasn't spending most of times unnecessarily on social medias. This is what I have ask for. Times for myself to spend for my career. To be more productive and to avoid distraction of the internet. I wish I can spend more time reading or writing journals. I wish.
I think, that's all for now. Will keep myself updated again, the soonest possible! Thanks for dropping by! See ya! :)

A Secret or Not
Though I’m keeping it to myself,
It won’t necessary be a secret.
You had asked me directly, but I manoeuvred the conversation back to you, changing the subject.
She had asked me in front of everybody else over our dinner, but I answered it funnily, denying the fact that it was true.
Why?
Because this is uncertain. I was just planning but Allah knows best. What is meant to be will be.
If leaving is the best thing, Allah grants me my wish.
If staying is the best thing, I’ll be here still.
I’m sorry if I’m keeping this to myself. It’s not a secret but there are things not to be shared. This one it is!

Tolerance
No religion is better than other religion. It’s just different.
We’re free to believe what we want to believe. Nobody can stop them. Thus, stop saying that your religion is better than others. You just have to embrace differences and show tolerance in your belief.
We’re living in a world that belongs to nobody. We don’t have the right to claim places in this world. We’re just residences who are renting it. Therefore, be tolerance and avoid greed.
We’re just different, doesn’t mean we aren’t the same. We’re human and we need tolerance. That’s what makes us the same.
Failure 😞
What makes a failure relationship?
Communication. Poor communication skill or lack of communication in a relationship is the reason why most relationships are not working.
If it’s one thing that I want to improve about myself is; my ability to communicate well with everyone arounds me.
